Tianzi Mountain: As an important part of Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Tianzi Mountain makes up a ''golden triangle'' along with Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Suoxi Valley Natural Reserve. It is known for 4 natural spectacles- sea of clouds that circle the peaks, the amazing view of sunrise, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks.
Tianmen Mountains: It is also known as Heaven Gate Mountains due to the unique natural miracle Tianmen Cave on the mountain, many Chinese believe that the Tianmen Mountain is the “Closest Earth Landmark to God”. The Tianmen Mountain Cableway, Heaven-linking Avenue, Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Glass Plank Road and Ghost-valley Plank Road are the main wonders.
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon: With mountains, waters, caves and lakes, it is reputed as the “Museum of Zhangjiajie Landforms”. The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge built in the area is set to be the longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge in the world and another must-see highlight in Zhangjiajie.
Zhangjiajie has no bullet train station yet, but most big cities in China have bullet trains connecting Changsha, the capital city of the province Zhangjiajie is located in. For example, there are 16 shuttle bullet trains from Beijing to Changsha every day and it takes about 6 hours one way, more than 20 shuttle bullet trains from Shanghai to Changsha per day and it takes about 5 hours, very frequent bullet trains are available each day from Guangzhou to Changsha and it only needs about 2.5hours one way. Therefore, taking bullet train first to arrive in Changsha, and then taking normal train (about 5.5hours) or coach (about 4.5hours) to Zhangjiajie is recommended. Normal trains from big cities of China to Zhangjiajie are not recommended since they take too much time.
